AskDuff trust center

Privacy policy

A plain-language baseline for how the AskDuff public site handles information and third-party destinations.

Data-minimizing baseline

Data minimization

The AskDuff public site does not include user accounts, contact forms, or public checkout. Information collection is limited to defined functions such as site delivery, security, measurement, and responding when someone sends an email.

Technical information

Hosting and security providers may process routine technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs to deliver and protect the site.

Ask Duff questions

When you submit a question through Ask Duff, the question is sent through OpenRouter to an outside AI model so it can produce an answer. AskDuff does not intentionally save the question, create a chat profile, or give the model access to private AskDuff systems.

The outside provider may process the question and routine connection data under its own privacy terms. Do not include passwords, financial details, health records, or other sensitive personal information in a question.

Google Analytics

AskDuff uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page use and actions such as clicks to The Duff Lab. Google may process page paths, approximate location, device and browser information, event data, and identifiers created through cookies or similar storage.

AskDuff has not added advertising pixels to this public-site foundation. Browser settings and privacy tools may provide controls for cookies and analytics storage.

Direct email

If you email AskDuff, the message, email address, and information you choose to include may be used to review the request, respond, and maintain an appropriate record of the conversation.

External destinations

AskDuff links to The Duff Lab and may link to third-party tools or merchants. Those destinations operate under their own privacy terms. Review them before providing personal information or making a purchase.

Questions and requests

Privacy questions, corrections, or data-rights requests can be sent through the verified support email on the Contact page. Identity verification may be required before acting on a request.
